Main­tain­ing a drive toward ener­getic color and some new wild brushes. This is a spring explo­sion. It’s clear that the sea­son is dri­ving what’s hap­pen­ing dur­ing this point on the calendar.

Mak­ing marks in new direc­tions. Using a bit of vibrant color to crank up some new energy.

Lost in rep­e­ti­tion. Pat­tern swimming. Frolicking through the tides of these marks. I worked with cre­at­ing marks as if with an absorbant sur­face.  I’m doing these same marks now in my studio.

Some rip­ples in my draw­ing — watch­ing them vibrate the sur­face is per­fect. They feel like water with­out the cor­rect hue. Are they a red sea?
