in the studio : june

This is what my desk looked like in June. The heat con­fined me to some smaller scale exper­i­ments. This is one of a few draw­ings that I was work­ing on in graphite. Exper­i­ment­ing again with using pen­cils and graphite sticks of all hard­ness. Even the nail 6H. These coils of energy were a response to the sub­strate size and work­ing on a small flat surface.

I really enjoy look­ing at these works. I’m pur­su­ing let­ting my pen­cils dance across the surface.
